"Oriental Dream"
A beautifully textured vintage Japanese silk crepe in a lovely dusky pink with a gentle sheen. The threads of Silk Crepe are what are known as “hard twisted” which means that instead of being totally smooth they are softly “crinkly” which gives a very subtle texture to the crepe fabric and when made with silk, a beautiful sheen. Another characteristic is that it has a wonderful drape and is fantastic for clothing.ALL of the Japanese fabrics I have are Kimono fabrics and they have their own set width which means that they are not sold by the running 1/4 metre which is 25cm wide but by the width they are made in.
