French silk Crepe. Very simple design of 2mm black squares printed onto the soft white crepe. Very easy to work with and would suit most projects.
The threads of Silk Crepe are what are known as “hard twisted” which means that instead of being totally smooth they are softly “crinkly” which gives a very subtle texture to the crepe fabric and when made with silk, a beautiful sheen. Another characteristic is that it has a wonderful drape and is fantastic for clothing.
