An Italian silk twill with a very 1960's feel to it. Tiny turquoise and pale yellow 3mm flowers with green hearts are scattered on rich chocolate brown. Twill can be a slightly "springy" fabric. It has a diagonal fine rib and is often used for ties, scarves, lining and waistcoats. In our small world it would be ideal for both clothing and soft furnishings.
This fabric is an unusual width of 101cm. I believe it's because it was made to make nothing wider than scarves.
