“Ivory Cream” – Silk Habotai in a lovely soft Ivory shade. Habotai is a smooth soft lightweight silk that is perfect for all your miniature makes. Habotai is such a versatile fabric. It's soft, very fine and lightweight and drapes really well but if you want to pleat it or press folds into it it has the body to hold them until they are pressed out again - very clever! It is also of a weight and lightness that it is suitable for 1:24, 1:48 and even soft furnishings in 1:144 - and remember, you don't have to embroider plain fabrics. Some of us can't. you can paint a design if you want to. Back in history a painted dress or skirt etc. wasn't unusual at all.
