British Haute Couture lightweight silk and linen Hopsack with a perfect even weave and a very subtle sheen . This is a fabric that is not seen very often at all! Of the highest quality, for us bigger people it's used for high end lightweight clothing, particularly men's summer jackets. It is perfect for embroidery - the weave is immaculate, in fact the colour is a perfect background for rich coloured embroidery and there is absolutely no reason why it can't be used for our smaller people for the same things. It pleats and gathers beautifully, and pulled stitch embroidery is easy-peasy! Perfect for 1:24 and 1:48 too.
