JAPANESE - VINTAGE
Probably made in the 1940's - 1950's Beautiful bands of colour decorate this lovely soft Japanese silk crepe. Floral and geometric patterns in rust, orange, green, ochre and grey. This lovely fabric has been block roller printed and where the grey dye has been put on the base colour it has an almost mauve tint. Perfect for all projects, Medieval and Art Nouveau/Art Deco in particular... and I'm pretty sure I had a mini dress in the 60's that had a similar design!
